The weather, currently.

90s and sunshine for Monday, August 1st

We are heading into our first day of August, so how did we do for the month of July? Well, we didn't do so great on precipitation and our temperatures were above average for this time of year. Normally our temperatures average out in July at around 89.9°F. For this year, our July temperatures averaged out at 93.4°F. As precipitation, we were about an inch short with 0.99" of rain. Normally we see about 2" of rain for the month of July.

Sadly, it looks like we will be drier and warmer to start out the week as well. The Front Range will be under the influence of a ridge of high pressure for the start of the week. That ridge will keep our skies clear and bring in warm temperatures from the desert southwest. BUT we do see a chance of rain coming later in the week. Hang on, precipitation is coming!

Here's a roundup of your Monday weather:

  1. 90s in the afternoon.
  2. Sunshine.
  3. Rain may appear on Wednesday. Fingers crossed!
